BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Silvia Black is the Senior Program Manager at Amira Global, where she oversees a global portfolio of research and innovation projects in mining and sustainability. With more than 35 years of experience across metallurgy, environmental science, and education, she brings deep expertise to collaborative industry initiatives.

Silvia leads the development of Amira Global’s Sustainability Framework and its new Lithium Program. She has presented internationally, published widely, and is a Fellow of both the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Royal Australian Chemical Institute.
