BIOGRAPHY

Janet Adeyemi is the Founder of Women in Mining Nigeria and the Country Chair on Sustainability. A respected engineer and advocate, she works at the intersection of resource governance, gender equity, and climate resilience.

Janet brings experience from both public and private sectors, including service in Nigeria’s Federal House of Representatives. She has contributed to global platforms such as the World Bank/IMF Civil Society Policy Forum and UNESCO’s Expert Committee on Earth Resources, and was named among the 100 Global Inspirational Women in Mining in 2017.
